    Any Bias? No.

Review: I didn’t really think this movie was all that good to be honest. The action scenes and stunts were cool but overall, this movie just didn’t do it for me. It felt a little drawn out and formulaic when it comes to the overall story. I’m not sure where the Matchbox brand fits into this movie or what they got out of it. The branding felt like an afterthought. The production values were really good, and the cast did a decent job, but it wasn’t enough to save this movie. Not really sure I can recommend this one. There are much better movies similar to this one that are much better.

Any Bias? Yes, I am a fan of both Ben Affleck and Kerry Washington.

Review: I thought this movie was better than expected. The story itself was decent overall and was carried by the strong acting performances all around, the cast was great! Ben, Kerry, Gillian, Luis & Adriana did great and I thought they all had good chemistry together. This movie never really delved deep into some of the themes they introduced and there is nothing wrong with that. Decent story, good acting, good pacing…not a bad way to spend an evening. I recommend it.

    Any Bias? No.

Review: Not entirely too sure what exactly to think about this movie to be completely honest. It started out pretty strong, but it fell apart toward the end. I don’t really want to say too much here because I don’t want to spoil the movie. Let’s just say I am little conflicted with how things played out. With that said, I am not sure I can recommend this movie.

Review: I had zero idea this was a silent film going in. At first, I thought something was wrong with my center channel speaker or my Apple TV was messing up. I’m glad neither was the case. Anyway, back to the movie, this was a good movie. I thought the cast did a great job of telling the story despite no dialog. With that said, I did feel like the plot was weak and the pacing was a little off. Overall, I recommend it. Just beware, it is a silent film so you won’t have to worry about checking if your TV or home theater setup has issues 🙂

Any Bias? Yes, I generally like Jason Statham’s movies for what they are.

Review: I didn’t care for this one. It felt everybody just phoned in their performances. The writing was lazy writing and so were the action stunts. I recommend skipping it.

Any Bias? Yup, I am a huge fan of Steven Spielberg’s movies. I was looking forward to this one because he does not usually disappoint.

Review: Disappointing might be the best way to describe this movie and my mood after watching it. The story and acting were just not that good in my opinion. This one was a rare miss for Mr. Spielberg, and it just failed to capture that Spielberg magic. Skip it unless you’re a die hard fan of Steven’s movies and even then, don’t expect too much.

Any Bias? Yup, I generally like Ryan Reynold’s movies.

Review: To be honest, I didn’t think Kenneth Branagh and Ryan Reynolds would work acting opposite each other. Just seems like an odd pairing to me for some reason. Anyway, I’m glad I was wrong. They played well off each other, and I thought the movie was entertaining. The plot was nothing special, but it was decent for what it was. I recommend watching it.

  • Masters of the Universe (2026)

Where to Watch: As of this writing, this movie is an Amazon Prime Video exclusive and is only available to watch on Amazon Prime Video.

Any Bias? Some. I used to watch Masters of the Universe as a kid so I was a little interested to see how this movie would turn out.

Review: This movie was fun to watch! Popcorn type flick through and through. It doesn’t take itself too seriously and honestly, that is one of the main reasons I enjoyed it. The cast looked like they were having a lot of fun but, I think Alison Brie had the most fun out of all of them playing Evil Lyn.

Watch it if you’re in the mood for something silly that has pretty good action sequences. Just don’t expect too much.

Any Bias? Yes, I generally like Mark Wahlberg’s movies and this one looked like it could be funny.

Review: Well, it had its moments but overall, it just was not that funny. Most jokes failed to land in my opinion and they felt forced. Sacha Baron Cohen was one of the highlights of the movie. He was funny in his role. At the end of the day, it’s hard for me to recommend this one unless you’re a huge fan of Mark’s.

Any Bias? I loved the show and I was looking forward to the movie.

Review: I thought the movie was entertaining and I liked it. Not sure why the critics were harsh. It wasn’t perfect by any means, but it was decent & it had its moments. I’d recommend watching it especially if you liked the show. There really isn’t too much more to say to be honest. So this review will be short and sweet.
